In late July/early August the kokanee were easy targets 1 mile out of Tahoe Keys Marina.  Troll about 20' down with a Wedding Ring behind a micro Sepps - I used a size zero DeepSix to get down.

Have a good trip.   :smt001

kokanee are still easy targets, but they're jigging for them now off of taylor creek.

I've been here almost a year, but haven't really spent much time trying to figure out the big lake, yet. As a flyfishing fan, I started with the creeks and rivers. However, the streams are almost dry this year, so I have been accumulating some koke gear and big stickbaits for the browns and macks. Tried some longlining at dusk last night off Regan Beach along the dropoff edge. It was nice and choppy, but no action.

Post a hookup and I'll try to join in.
