Late late report from Albion

Sorry I havent cheched in.First and foremost Thank you to Ginnell and her better halve  ,and especially to the bearded wonder in the white yak{Batt] that came and rescued  my ass,allong others.Ive been unable to post because of cicumstances.Ill share with all now but some of you know.Ilost my fatheron Friday 10th ,he had terminal cancer and I just moved in when I heard 3 1have weeks previous ,the day after I heard.So the week before he passed, on a Sunday in front of alot of family he lost his ability to control his vowell movements.Sorry to be so graffic but because I feel that you are all my family I give myself prmission to tell you a story cause I know you all understand like no one else

Sorry to hear about your father.    Life is tough.

I lost my father to throat cancer (tobacco) and it was ugly.  It takes a while, but it does get better--very slowly. 

Glad to see you thank Mr. Batt, he deserves it.

So  my dad Gabriel,who molded me after him and taught me how to fish@1 year of age and whoom I butted heads since I was 14 asked me to help him up and to the bathroom I knew there was a problem.Because of all the weight he had gained,due to his organs failing,Ihad to have my uncle help me take him to the john.When we sat him down I asked to let me take care of his brother,my father.I sat with him on the floor as he started crying and saying how sorry he was and how ashammed,were both crying and I tell him Padre theres no need to,Its my privelidge and honor so please let me do what you did for me and no problema it is my honor and my turn to take care of you,so please let me.So started to massage him while sitting next to him and he gave me permission,him?After 45minutes I talked him into letting me cutt his toe nails,Ihad to bring in industrial grinders :smt044Soon there after I asked my uncle to help me lift him up so I could  clean him and dress him.Thats when I knew that we were like when I was his little boy but backwards

For the last week of his life he whould not let anyone  clean him or toch him but me,Every morning Iwhould take care of him before work and when I got back.Onthe 10th I took of from work early so I could get ready,so I got  loaded and went into bed with dad and massaged him ang gave him a shave after much reccistance.As Im massaggging him I telling him the strategy I was going to employ,from pole and reel,line to terminal tacle and tacktics and his eyes got bigg////So I tell him theres going to be a shitload of excellent anglers and a lot of them are better than me ,I whould like youre blessigs cause I need all the luck I can get.Whil;e laying down he lifts his hand up and does the cross and says ,[que dios te bendiga]I say thank you father im going to go catch you a big one so we can have a big party and celebrate youre birth day on Sunday,his was on Saturday,so I tell him to hold on till I get back.I give him a kiss on the forehead and bolted but before I could hit the dood he yells Gaby,Iturn around  and he says while mooving two fingers,Me traes dos,{you bring me back two}those were the last words I heard  from my Papi

Hang in there brother. I am still missing my sister very much and it has been three years already since she has passed. It is very difficult to lose a love one so I know first hand on how you feel. Being around more with family and good friends helps a lot in these times of sorrow. Take care Gabe.
