Duckguy (Dan) In NCKA about one year. Looking forward to meeting y'all at LRC in November.  One of us in the pic is a turkey, the other is a bird...

Hi my name is Rich. Been Kayak fishing for a few years, but only once or twice a year at OC. Purchased an older Hobie Odyssey and would like to do more. Any suggestions near the bay area this weekend?

Thanks John. It was a real dinosaur. That was up between Rancho Murietta and Ione. No longer have permission on that spot though. Really sad.

Hey guys thought it was time (after a year or so :smt002) to do an introductory post.  Beachpotato here.  Love to get out anytime into the surf-bring my backpack "beachpotato" chair most of the time to the beach.  After throwing stuff out there for a while I like to slink back in my chair, have a stogie, sip a cool one and watch the girls walk by.

When I get a bit more serious no beachpotato.

Perch, Stripers and Cod.  Have yet to get my first Halibut from the beach :smt011 :smt012

So I've been googling Kayak, crabbing Monterey bay and it doesn't look like a thing in the bay.  Tough to find anything on it.  Further north up the coast, or out deep in the bay I guess.

Anyway hope to add something to the site, thanks.  Potato out for now.
