Hello, I'm Chad from Santa Rosa,
Pretty new to pole fishing, but been crabbing off my yak for years. Anyway I wanted to join the group to learn more and find some peeps to fish with around the Sonoma/ Mendo coast. Just got an outback and I'm pretty well set up but still have a lot to learn. I've surfed this coast for almost twenty years so I got a lot of water knowledge and have every CPR cert there is because of my job , I'd really like to go fishing with y'all sometime!, PM me if your heading out and don't mind a tag-a-long! I can hold my own, haha! Thanks for all the great info you guys put up, it really helps us newbies out!
Cheers!
Welcome, Chad.  :smt006

Hi All,

I'm Manny from Stockton. New to kayak fishing but eager to be on the water. Great to see people's posts and messages. I have PA 14 and I've used it a few times on the Delta. Great for bass fishing! I've been to Capitola and have rented their skiffs....just waiting to bring my yak there and explore. I would love to learn how to crab from the yak. If anyone is interested or wouldn't mind a newbie tagging along, please let me know.

Good times!

Hi I'm Freddie from Vallejo. Been fishing all my life, know many Filipino primitive way of catching fish but new to this well equip hi-tec way. Usually I soak baits for striped bass along SFbay shorelines, I out grown that I guess. I'm more on trolling/ jigging now. More option in kayak fishing for sure. See you in the water, fish on!
No ocean too deep, no tide too high, no weather too bad...Let’s go paddle around and have some fun! Fish on!

Been fishing a long time. Lots of kinds. But I must say, I enjoy it from a kayak the most. Something about that perspective is satisfying...maybe I was once a duck  :smt004
