I was on the pier this morning about 6 or so.I was making a delivery to one of the restaurant on the pier.as I was walking the pallet by a guy fishing I ask him if he caught anything he said peep in his cooler.he had I about a third full he said they was mackerel and sardines.by the time I was done with my delivery he couldn't close the lid on his cooler so those of you who fish live bait they're there, just a heads up
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Vince,  I'd love to put my little kids on some Mack's off the pier.  What restaurant was he behind?  Some of my best fishing memories was the year the Mack's took over the sc harbor in the late 80's I believe.  No bait, bare hooking them by the hundreds. Soooo much fun!

I would throw a cast net. If you hit a school, you will load up a full bucket in two throws. Don't need them to bite, just need them to be there. My two cents.  :smt003
