they don't give themselves enough credit. I would say that the Hobie held up very well to the shark testing, in that the operator came away unscathed.

IMHO the kayak's main job in the event of a shark incident is to get in the way of the shark. Good kayak!

  I think the only thing the hull's have failed to do was to properly inform the sharks that these object are NOT food!  Have any other kayak dealers replaced OTH (Other than Hobie) hulls?
