Took Kylo for a walk at Half Moon Bay today. Walked by the beach between the Boat launch and HMB Kayak Company. The tide was low and we came across a bottle with 2 letters inside....

Out of respect, I'd like to re-seal the cork and send the bottle back out.

my question: Should I leave it as is or should I put a note saying I found it with todays date before sending it out? What would you do?

*I posted this in FB as well..

That was beautiful, and brought a tear to my eye. Don't write anything Joel, seal it up and throw it back.

I think that's the right thing to do. Very touching notes.

Thanks for sharing,

At first I thought it would be best to add a note of your own to let the next person know that the thoughts in those notes were making their way thru the lives of others.  But the just send it on as is sentiment sounds just as appropriate.

Does tug at the heart.
