Hanging out w/my distant cousin from TX last wknd...we were talking about fishing--he's not really into fishing. But he was real proud of the alligator gar he ran down w/a jetski. Still had pics of it on his phone--looked about 5ft long (he said 8ft lol). But I just couldn't get over how he kept saying "It tasted so bad. Next time I run one over I'm just gonna leave it there...those stupid things taste like sh!t"

I used to catch them in Texas but not that big.  The meat is not too bad if you know how to cook it but the skin/scales are very tough!
