With weather along the coast not looking so good for the opener, was thinking about making a trip back to 'DC County'; and get me my first butt!

Will watch the weather forecast for a 6:30 launch from the harbor; guides welcome (yeah DC this means you  :smt044).

I'll try to get out there by 6:30.  Are you launching from the small boat dock?

Good Luck Glen! I will be at HOW otherwise I would be there.

If the weather is marginal (and 8' swells are very marginal, HOW might be a good backup plan..... If so, I will be the big green kayak machine there (Malibue 2XL)... and scare all the fishy with my music!

Here's the NOAA point & click forecast for the mile buoy:
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=36.92806707627373&lon=-121.98806762695312&site=mtr&unit=0&lg=en&FcstType=marine

Saturday:  Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming WNW 6 to 11 kt in the morning. Patchy fog before 11am. Mixed swell...WNW 8 ft and SSW 1 ft. Wind waves around 1 ft.

I'm dying to get out there this wknd, but so far the WX forecast kinda sucks. :smt010
