So far so good. NCKA folks who want to volunteer please let me know asap. We have a local Kayak group that will also volunteer. Dan and Victor are aboard from Headwaters which is great because their from a local Kayak Business and were a big help at Kelsey Bass Ranch. VFW is on board and will be serving lunch at the Lodi Lake. Waste Management (Thanks Thom Sanchez) is stepping up and paying our reservation fees. Dave, California Waste Recovery Systems, has donated his private property for us to camp at and launch from if we decide to do so.
The Sacramento Cadre will make this outing for 20 to 30 who are all active duty. Sgt. Jones is presenting this to his Superiors as a day that their staff can come together to have a day of Camaraderie. We may also have the American Legion in for us the night before for dinner. It's coming together and looking pretty good so far. Thanks Frank

I'm glad to hear things are working out for a Lodi run. I'm thinking we will ha to limit the amount of help for this weekend. We have a lot of interested people from the Lodi Paddle Club. Also some of my family would like to help its shore stuff like shuttle or cooking or whatever else needs to be done. I plan on having 20-25 kayaks for use, my trailer for shuttle, and about a half dozen trout poles. I plan on camping out at Dave's place if that's cool.

If you plan on coming to the event be sure and swing by the shop, we're walking distance from the property where we camp and put in.
