WTB: Used Hobie Outback

Anybody know where I might find one of these hidden jewels?

  when you do get a kayak ...hit me and my other buddy Kris and we can carpool out to the coast. I can get you a deal on a new one if you wanted a new Hobie?

I got mine used at California Canoe and Kayak. Its out in Citrus Heights but the price was great. Check it out!

What you looking to get for it?  I'm hoping to find one in the $1100 to $1200 range if possible.  I know the new ones are running in the $1800 range.

Hobies hold their value really well...

you'll find, unless you get very lucky, your probably only going to save a couple hundred dollars and have to rush to beat others to the punch.

Then, not much in the way of warranty issues or service from a Hobie dealer...

 best just to strike your best deal for a new one...

the great thing after getting one is their pretty much bullet proof ...

  That being said, there are certain years, late 2005 to early 2006 where there were hull problems and some people got hull replacements...   

some got to keep their old hulls and try to sell them... ( not me... )

be wary of outbacks that have a square part in the tank well, and educate yourself about Outbacks to know if you have found a good deal if you are still going to try and buy used...

The demo at the show looks like a good deal now, maybe they will give it to you for the weekend price.
you had this info for 24 hrs by now, did you get one yet? if if you did, did Christina leave you?
at least you did not buy one last Sunday like you told her you wouldn't.
She will understand now that you waited 72 hrs... I think, I don't know...that is probably why I am still single, or is it cause they would not put up with my shit?

Thanks Danglin thats good to know.  Do you know if they had any issues with the Outbacks from 2007?  There is a guy selling one for $1450.  I need to check out Headwaters in Redding and see what they can come up with too.  Maybe new is the way to go.
