Thanks!  I'm not to familiar with the model changes from year to year.  I just know they change the hatches a bit from the early ones.

Found a Used 2011 Hobie Outback for $1590.  Do you guys think this is a good deal or do I need to look at new ones for that price.

ya not bad, but again, for a little over a hundred bucks more, ya get a new one....

just buy a new one... for the difference, you know you aren't buying someone elses problems/mistake

Congrats bro! How much did u end up spending? I picked up a 2012 outback today also, got 10% off and half price on turbo fins. Cant wait to get in the water, i bet u feel the same

First upgrade I would recommend is the turbo fins, and to a lesser extent the sailing rudder.  I just did both on mine after several years, and what a difference.  You are gonna love your outback either way, but I have never loved it as much as I do now.
