My goal?  Finally get my fishing license (After 3 yrs without one) and get some lines wet again!  Surf or on kayak, with something easy like Santa Cruz.

My goal would be to catch more fish on my kayak. I can seriously count how many fish I've caught on my kayak this year on one hand even though I've been out more than I can remember

Sounds like you were chasing WSB too !  Its not the Number of Fish , but the quality IMHO !
I will chase WSB all season for a few Great sleigh rides ! , and a few incidental Butts along the way !

Just one goal this year! Well, maybe another one that is ambitious and I'll post the details if I catch one.

I have an entire year to do it!

My goal is one of each species available in the Monterey Bay.  I'd be happy with a Salmon, Hali, WSB & a treasure trove of Ling/Cod.  Not too much to ask for ... right?

Actually,
Season ends in March and doesn't open again till Oct. so you still have 5 1/2 months :0)

I didn't think that I needed to post the closure details. The opener should be a good time if I don't make it down there in the coming months.

Goals for 2013
Make CW3, retire from the Guard, use extra weekend a month and two weeks a year for fishing places I have never been too.

Hoping Alaska comes through this year, may not, but if not working on some other West Coast adventure.

Attend/support more HOW events, make it to Playitforward for my buddy Mooch.  Catch something edible (hopefully not a Zombie Salmon, that thing gave me the whillies...lol).  Get to gether more with the rest of you!
