I just got off the phone with Steve Sell, the Wilderness Systems rep, and he was very excited to hear that the Salmon Slam 2 was another huge success and hopes that Rob enjoys his new Ride 135.  Steve said that Wilderness Systems would love to partner with more events in the future and that he can hopefully make that happen.  Ricci and Jim (and many others) really worked hard on this event and it showed.  It was an awesome tournament and was first class all the way .  On behalf of Adventure Sports it was great to be involved once again and look forward to BSS3!
Great tournament and great job Ricci and Jim.

This is a great event.  I hope that everyone sends emails to all of the sponsors.  I have been at both events and Ricci has done a great job each year.  Looking forward to next year.

That's cool to hear WS is interested in partnering with more events in the future. They always seemed underrepresented in NorCal. But despite that, I am loyal to their Tarpons! I've been through a lot of kayaks but always end up going back to my trusty T140.

Thanks John for helping out with his event. Thanks to Steve also. WS I very under represented in NCKA. I don't know why though. The Tarpon is a great fishing platform. The 160 is so easy to get from place to place also. Trolling is little to no effort at all. I can go 10-15 miles in a day and I'm not wiped out, unless I race the last 5 miles. Not recommended. More of us who are looking to get into a new boat should give WS a good hard look.

I've already given the new Ride a good hard look at what I need to do to get it ready to hit the water. Got some ideas, but need to get it out first to get the feel of where I want things placed. Hardest thing will be Transducer placement I think.

That is great to hear!!

And thank you for the props, Kayakers having fun and getting on some grub (and fish) is what makes it worth the work for me, and  I know Ricci feels the same

I am a true WS fan, and though I have been on a hobie for a few weeks, once my wrist heals more I will be back in my Ride135!!  unless I trade it in for the new model   :smt003 :smt004
