Count me in...  after I get an AZZ wippin on the lake, I wont have far to drive home.

Mol - I think you should write an article on  "How-to-smack-talk....and back it up"  .........maybe Dustin /  Rockhopper (the defending champion of Mendo) can hopefully learn from it

Just got that Friday off so we are there. CHUB's b-day is the 25th so I think it will be a great way to spend it.

Hook me up with some more info on the event. I just purchased a kayak and am looking forward to getting involved in some of the fishing events. I reviewed some of the posts and seen some of the pictures from past events and it looks like everyone is having a great time. Also everyone seems to be stoked about the up coming event. I will also be looking for people to do some ocean fishing and some ad diving with.

The Bendo at Mendo event is a striper contest at lake Mendocino.

It combines kayak fishing, camping and most importantly eating and drinking.  You should be able to search the archives for the reports from last years event.  Last year, I showed up friday afternoon to set up camp, fished the contest saturday, and fished Sunday morning.  The pot luck diner after the contest was absolutely epic and the comraderie cannot be beat camping with all of other yakkers.
