Oh yeah I forgot, camaraderie!  Speaking of camaraderie, I lots a ton of WAF at last year's Bendo@Mendo thanks to your little "trick apron".  Evidently, she now worries about all my "internet fishing friends".

sorry about that Steve....I mean Brian....I'll try to be a little more "low key" next time. I'll  keep the apron thing "for the boys only"....it's just safer that way :smt002

Count me in. I'm still looking for my first Mendo fish but who cares when the food and friends are that great. Thanks Sean for the repeat opportunity. Maybe you should have a catfish division. Seems that was the big action last year.

Juando will be at Mendo.
Bring your best aprons.
Conserve your energy, fish from a beached 'yak.
Maybe I'll have a new boat by then.
It'll be good to see all the rookies again  :smt002
I take my last final tonight and I'm fishing tomorrow...

Two thoughts....

1. Will we have a prize for the biggest catfish this year?
2. Will there be a prize for worst stuck truck in the mud this year? :smt002

For those of us who didn't go last year, is there a map to the campground?  I couldn't find Angels Camp on any of the online maps -- the only campgrounds I found had Native American sounding names...

Have never been to Mendo but I have been readin' all the posts. My son's 15th b-day is the 25th and I know he would LOVE to spend it kayak fishing. Can't think of a better way.

It's not on a map it's an unoffical group campground it's just west of the last day use area at Kyen behind a locked gate. Its nice no traffic :smt023
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
