Professional Comedy Debut

I will be doing my professional debut at Tommy T's in Pleasanton on Aprill 11th. the show starts at 7:00. this is the same venue that I began my comedy career at with my NCKA brothers back on 7/11/11 @ 7. Have come a long way since then, and it is just looking better all the time. Goings and Goings Entertainment just gave me a one year contract, and taping last month went phenominally well. I will be taping again in Montana this summer, and will let you guys all know when it airs. I am going into a recording studio to record my first album tomorrow. Thank you guys for supporting me, and hope to see ya on the 11th.

Thanks guys. I really do appreciate it. Al is right, I have not bought a license yet. Been really crazy. We are starting a tour in May, Cowboys and Cannabis, coming to a Joint near you. I am headlining the tour. Taping in Montana in July for a dvd, and documentary of me, depending on how it goes, CMT Crossroads might buy it. I signed their contract to shoot it, and depending on how it goes, will air. I have a meeting with the producer for a reality show too. Cowboys and Comics. The premise is I take a truck load of comedians up to the ranch, and let them totally screw things up. Should be a good time.
Quick funny story, there is a club in Sac, T2. It is a swingers club, but I didn't know it. I got an invite to perform there, and let's just say, yep, lucky to get out of there with my clothes! Goin back Wednesday. lol. Starting to get to the point where I might have to quit my state job. I am going to hang on as long as I can, benefits are expensive. I signed a one year Contract with Goings and Goings Entertainment. They are a great managment company, and very connected. Besides, I am having so much fun doing this. It seems like a long time ago when I got started with a bunch of you guys that night in Pleasanton. That is still one of my favorite shows.

I was putting some up on youtube, but was advised to stop. I am in the process of getting a website and bought all the richbrockman.em alls. I will be posting clips and stuff there. I went to the studio with the kids tonight, and doing studio comedy is nothing at all like stage comedy. Probably the same with music. It was tough, but the good news is you can re do anything that doesnt come out right. I got 7 minutes down, and took about 45 to get that. It was a good time, and something I am glad I could share with the kids. I am cutting all the cussing out of the cd, and 99% on the dvd. I want to produce a product my kids can listen to. Anyhow, pretty worn down, time to relax.
