New guy to the forum...looking for my first boat...
VietNam vet  71-75, caught the Saigon and Cambodia evac in April of 75 aboard the USS Blue Ridge LCC 19.
All gave some, some gave all

87-99 most of my time was with the C co 184 Inf out of Auburn.

Basic training & AIT (12B) at Fort Lost in the Woods Mi. Went back to FLW a year later for 63B reclass. Did my inf reclass at Camp Roberts a couple years after that. Then was selected for a JCDTF unit Team Wolf stationed out of Beales AFB for 4 years of active duty. Finished my service as a battalion recon squad leader with HQ co 184 in Modesto.

Trained at Irwin, Polk, Schofield, Pohakuloa Training Area

Had a buddy in team Wolf around that time. Wonder if you knew him?
