So Ben is leaving us temporarily (Connecticut) to take care of his Mom and Dad. But he did PROMISE that he would be back. Anyway, if you have any favorite Ben pics or any good time stories with Ben....please post away.

One my most favorite hang out events with Ben was when a few of us got a camp sites at Butano State Park and "someone" I'm not gonna mention any names (fishunter) decided to plant a chicken wing underneath Ben's tent. That night, Ben got a constant flow of visitors from the resident raccoons. It got so bad to where he had to use his kayak paddle to fend them off. Needless to say, these raccoons were hell-bent to get that chicken wing. The morning after, we did an early launch at Bean Hollow....Ben was no where to be found. Poor guy hardly got any sleep. 

What I like about Ben is the way he's always smiling. Always giving to others. When we were all out on lake Sonoma once Ben took hot dog orders at the ramp via VHF and brought out a steaming hot weenie to all who wanted one.  I will miss you for awhile, until you get back, the friendship and the gusto with which you live your life. Always seeing the positives and putting a smile on the faces around you. Crazy, free like the wind, the embodiment of the happy go lucky kayak fisherman. Take care bro. I will miss you.
