  If we got someone injured, we could torpedo the entire HOW program....

Just a little too dicy for Saturday...

Probably a smart call Don. A hard one to have to I'm sure. Even beat down, a 14' swell might be a bit much. It sure would be a really great experience on the right day. Maybe we can try again sometime later. And hopefully the VA can appreciate your erring on the side of caution. Thank you for the hard work you and others put forth already. I will make it to one of these I swear!

So bummed!!! But it's not about me. Good call, it will happen and we will all be waiting.

Aye, the Big Blue looks  this weekend    So sorry Don, wish the weather knew what you were trying to do    Is there any chance of just swinging the venue?  Maybe lake Sonoma or something? I can re-gear for anything   

bummer.....oh well, going to hit Lake Sonoma instead - company welcome!

Just heard from our contact from Sonoma Sheriff's and they will be ready anytime we want to reschedule. They too suggested Sonoma lake sometime in the future with free camping for the volunteers.

Thank you for all the work and time you have put into this, and are gong to have to now. Also for having the wisdom to call it so as to keep safe those who have done the same for us.

Based on that forecast, canceling was the right thing to do. Based on Don's luck with weather, now that we cancelled,it will probably be the nicest day of the year.

I hear ya Don.......  I'm probably calling a client trip on Saturday myself.  Rain doesn't matter, but the 9' swell will proly keep the  rockfish mouths closed..Hey, It's November in NorCal..

Figures....all of the forecasts I'm checking now are calling for very minimal wind in the morning and 6' swells. 

I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a family day at Doran on Saturday...

 I'm praying for Hostile conditions....
