Don love to help out if the dates work out, I think I have 4 traps.  Have you checked out the group campsites at Miwok Tent Campground big BBQs bathroom and showers and protected from the wind $200 a night but maybe they will give You a Break. Wheeleez launch but not to bad.

Right-on guys !! I love the spirit,compassion and generosity of my ncka brothers. The 19th works for me. I think we may be better off getting a few small campsites for people coming up the night before. The group site is nice but it is a ways from the jetty where we launch. The surf launch in front of the group site can be quite knarly. Sites 104,105,and 107 are the closest to where we want to be.

I'm not sure if they are going to waive any fees or even give us permission at this point...

  But I will do what I can, will not know anything till end of next week...

maybe we should put a reserve on those anyway... From my experience, they waive entry and use fees, but not for camp sites...

Don, I will pay for 1 of the campsites if you can get them reserved. I have a hard time making reservations over the internet. If those sites are not available, try to get any sites that are at that end nearest the jetty. preferably for fri and sat. I'll bring natalie and make a weekend out of it. I will be out there crabbing on opening weekend also,if anyone wants to come check out the scene and get crabby.

I have a nights free camping with my yearly pass, and will use it, but can not use it till Tuesday, I have to call during business hours...

also, I do not know if they are even going to let us do this yet, so I'm hesitant to book a camp site, but will get one anyway on Tuesday..
