Any update on the total competitors for this one with a month to go. Will stop by at the eureka shop tomorrow and turn in the form tomorrow when I head to town.

wow and here I am stuck in SoCal ..  wah!   

I will have an updated list and a list of prize sponsors Tuesday. It's going to be a great time. Everyones arms are going to be really sore catching all these fish. Please get your forms turned in asap. There are going to be lost of prizes given away at this event. Good ones!

Pre-tournament party at Clam Beach (couple miles south of Trinidad)! Clam beach is still filled with razor clams. Pre-Tournament party will involve everyone getting their limit of razor clams and then having a big bbq. Bombfires, drinks and razor clams. Clam Beach also offers FREE camping to anyone who is interested in not driving that night. If you haven't had razor clams, you are in for a treat.

We have a lot of prizes coming in. We are going to do prize packages for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams as well as biggest catch in each species. I didn't do a kayak, I figured everyone already has one.

We do have some other items coming though. So far I have around 30 companies sending in prizes with more to come. I'm not going to go over all the names of the companies, but, so far, you can expect a lot of Kayak gear, fishing gear, camping gear, car racks accessories, helmet cameras, crabbing gear, gift certificates... That's all I will mention for now.

Looks like I can get a couple days off work for this so I'm in!
I'll be on my own for this trip, so I guess I'll need a team mate for the tourney. Anyone?

I am also looking for a partner.  Hopefully the swell will allow us to head out around Trinidad head.  Trinidad has been good to me this year as you can see....

I just got confirmation from Hermes (Dropnlax) and I will represent NCKA..we will be arriving Friday night we send the registration this week..cant wait...

There aren't many participants as of yet - looks like an easy way to get in the prizes!  I hope more folks will get on this! 

Trinidad Rockfish Wars!  The battleground could be epic - we've had lots of 70 degree days at the beach around here lately, and I see reasonably calm water in my crystal ball.
