Sweeeeet!  Looking good on the flier graphics, and thank you for putting this on, Pacific Outfitters!!!   :smt001

Hope we get some southern yakfishing bro's to come up to Trinidad for this.  22-24" rockfish are likely to show, and a 20 pound ling is never out of the question for Trinidad Head area - not to mention Pacific Halibut!  Bring It On!!   :smt003

Sounds like fun. Have to see if I can get off work for it.
Just curious though why you chose a pic of SO Cal guys holding YT when the Trinidad tourney is anything but SO Cal or YT?
I knew Trinidad was up north but when I saw the pic I had to check to see if there was another Trinidad down south that I didn't know about.

Thats going to be a tough weekend since it is also Haloween weekend.

Yeah whats up with the Socal pic holding YT?

Why does the species list have trout, kokanee, striped bass, and white sea bass on it?  Can't keep trout out of the ocean waters.

Congrats Tote on being the first person to mention something about the picture. :smt003 I don't have any good pics of holding fish up "on the water." I have plenty of land pics but nothing on the water. Now you know why I made a post about the picture contest for next years flyer. I should have a photographer at our event too to take lots of pictures. I thought it was more important to get you guys and gals the notice rather than finding the perfect picture. I knew the picture would be brought up as soon as I posted the flyer. Hope to see you there!

In regards to the date, the 29th is the correct date. We had some other big events going on locally on the 22nd, so it was bumped to the 29th. However people still have a couple days to get back home for Halloween and if your worried about celebrating on Halloween weekend, Humboldt (ARCATA) is an awesome town to do it in. There are literally 15 different bands (good bands), 30 bars/brewery/restaurants (with fantastic beer and food) and you have Humboldt State. This would be a treat for anyone who is looking to have a great Halloween weekend. If you want links to what is going on that weekend, please let me know and I will provide them. Hope to see everyone soon!

I will update the points breakdown for you guys and gals soon. I recycled an old one. As rule number one states: All C.D.F.G. rules/regulations will be followed. Thanks for your reply!  :smt003

Yeah getting cracked in the back of the head with a bottle sure was a good time 2 years ago.  Maybe this year they have more music going on and possibly some control of the plaza instead of anarchy.  Doesn't come close to SF on halloween.  Just my 2 cents.

It is nice to have a tourney in our backyard though.  Hopefully it will be flat so I can haul back another big halibut.
