last time I was in a high tide like that I rode the kayak to the side of my truck and yelled at fish n game to talk to me after I get my truck out of the sand. :smt044 :smt044 you can drive to within 20 feet of the launch without hitting the sand, unload and park in the lot.

Nice move!   :smt001

Beware, Guys!  There will be locals who will launch and park on the beach - they'll know to leave before it comes up, so watch out!  I'm pretty sure the 1:25PM 7.9' high tide will be covering the better part of all the driving area by just before noon.  The paved parking spots are only a very short wheel or carry away from the beach.  It's like this:  I ALWAYS park on the beach, but I probably won't this Saturday due to how high the tide will be right when we're looking to get out.

Come by Pacific Outfitters and ask for Greg when you get into town if you have any questions about the area or just want to visit! I'll be in Arcata till about 1pm then in Eureka after that. I can't wait for tomarrow! Been out of town for about a month with the mother-in-law having heart surgery and need to hit the water and relax!
