Have you ever backout on your hookup?

Just wondering, I dont remember backing out on my hook up yet but I am sure it will happen soon enough, different responsibilities should have effect on the future fishing scheduling, have you ever back out or bail on your own hook up? Why and what are the contingency plans for those? Let say only 3 person responded and one is newbie? PM all replied text if phone available? Just looking for your in put..

 I do not know the edicate of such a thing, but I know I start to have a feeling of responsibility of how good the fishing is going to be, weather etc... etc... when I " used..." to post a hook up. ( Have not been fishing in a while...  )

But to answer the question... anyone who is interested in such a hook up, I would hope would continue to monitor such thread, and check just before walking out the door....

exchanging phone #'s through PMs is always nice too as we all know many things can happen on the way to the show....

IMO, All you need to do is post on the thread that you aren't gonna be there along with the reason for your cowardice. For example: Hey guys, I'm sorry. I'm not gonna be able to make it tomarrow cause my pussy started leaking again. See ya next time. 

No but seriously, that situation has come up for many of us myself included. It is no big deal. Shit happens. Just try to post-up as soon as possible so guys can rearange their plans. I also believe the same applies to anyone who responded to the hook-up. That way people aren't standing around waiting for you.

Here's one that was pulled on me: " I can't make it because I am the backup babysitter for my best friend who's wife is 2cm and may need me in case the first babysitter doesn't show up!". ? ........Really!
I was so dumbfounded that all I could say was,"OKAY".
