I have to CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL We were heading for some salt action sat/sun launching at capitola pier and going to the rock piles a little south. Others fell threw due to work constraints so seems silly to make a solo run. Next time will plan a solo run... Sorry to any looking to meet me/us I'll probably end up fishing with sac crew in American river tomorrow... Will watch for a Monterey/SWS hook up later this year.

I'd head over to the cement ship...  New Brighton beach area.       Fished all over Capitola last Saturday , from  Sponge Bob to Privatz    Tons of bait,  dines, chovies and mackerels,  just no hits...     didn't hear of anyone else either.      Fish must be stuffed to the gills .

Sometimes the fish isn't the only prize.

Did I just give up where I will be fishing? Ok maybe not the 150 line but 80 - 120 range especially with the south swell that rolled through.

I'll be out in Capitola tomorrow probably around the sponge bob buoy.  I'll be in a white Santa Cruz Kayak, its hard to miss.  If the buoy turns out being productive I'll send you a shout, if its dead at the buoy its time to hit up my striper spot at new brighton. good luck and see ya out there!   :smt006
