but I still have those four rods ready for the vets and my hobie revo/hobie inflatable if anyone wants to come by and pick it up on the way out to the lake.  I'll know more in early september, who knows, maybe the wife will let me come on down for a day trip since i'm so close, but I doubt it.

  You have to come,  recharge the batteries so ya go back into the fight and be able to give more to Mom and the new one...

  I'm fairly confident were looking around 50 or more wounded warriors,

  we do have shore volunteers helping so that clears kayakfisher people to be on the water with the vets...

 Some of these vets are poly-trauma, so be thinking outside the box as far as gear as we may need to modify a few things...

 

  This is a Big one, at a Private members only Bass Ranch, with camping the night before....

Wont make it for camping so see ya'll in the morning 0700-0800. 

Were close to a month away and have about 10 volunteers and about the same in yaks,

 I'm not worried as it's summer and everyone is fishing and having fun and I'm sure it will all come together in the end, but here is what we have so far to serve over 50 wounded vets, and there is usually last minute +/- on that number too...

I'm working with other non-profits as to help with food and other stuff, but nothing is set in stone right now. Looks like we are going to have about 1/2 dozen active duty vets joining us for the over night and then the VA comes with a couple bus loads. It's already decided that some of these vets are going to be shore fishing as their injuries are just too great and do believe I will have other volunteers who fish ( non ncka )and will help with that. After seeing what we did at lake Mindin, I know we will get this done.

This will be the last Big event for a while, after this, it's going smaller.

Did I Mention that volunteers have the opportunity to come in Friday Afternoon/camp over and have a Private Bass Ranch to play with that afternoon and evening?

Yes, and everything one should need... as long as they don't mind a cheapo PFD.  And plenty of food and drinks, (sans beer).
