Anyone Want to Hit La Jolla Sometime Soon?

I'm definitely interested.  I make weekly trips by air to my LA office (usually Thu & Fri), but can drive down with yak and gear and fish in La Jolla Fri & Sat. 

What time do you want to leave?    Are you planning on fishing through the night or during the day?

I tried to get the wife to go during the 4th and she responds with "why don't you just go".  I'm interested so please keep me posted.

Oh man, I wish I could go down with y'all!! Went out yak fishing there twice this past winter, unfreaking-believable. Hope plans fall into place for y'all!!

Btw, this is where Hobie yaks are ideal with so much paddling out to the YT waters. Night fishing would be cool

Aug. 5-6   &   Aug. 19-20 looks good on my schedule.

I'm driving down Friday maybe a I should look up a good rental place since I can't bring my kayak down but could bring everything else. Any good suggestions for this area and where is the best launch spots?

Just launch off the beach in La Jolla, paddle out past the reserve, jig up bait, and troll!
