Vet park allows motorhomes to 21 feet only. Mine is 27. Any other close campgrounds you know of if I can't stay in the lot? It says you will be referred elsewhere if longer.

I checked out Veterans Park and it sounds very good. The problem is that its first come first served. I hope that by the time we get there Friday afternoon there will still be a spot open. Its all good. Cant wait.

I'm still trying to figure out where to stay in the RV.

If I were you I would call MBK, explain to them your situation and that you are driving out to attend the Pay it Forward Paddle for NCKA, and ask nicely that if you were to move your RV in the morning as to not impeed their business parking could you park it there for the night. There is an area where I've seen trucks and RV's parked at various times year round. The worst thing they can say is no, but they might have a solution for you so call em up!!

All the employees there should know about the paddle, as they are offering a discounted yak rental for our event.

Good Luck!

I just checked with MBK and they said they really don't have any control over the lot. It is the cities lot. Told I should make an anonymous call to the city and see what they say. I know the answer I will get there. Walmart is a no overnight parking lot store in Marina. I may just do that anyway.

The MBK lot is monitored by the city - But only from 9am till 8pm :smt002
Might be able to park their overnight than move in the am to a side street for the day.
I have done this with my trailer without issue, Just make sure you park way off the main streets.

See Ya There,

Wanna split a site at V.P. if available?

Laguna Seca Raceway RV camping $35.00 per night with water/electric hookup. About 20 min from MBK off Highway 68.

Look at the map titled Waterfront Area Parking Lots.

Both Waterfront Area 1 and 2 had RVs over 25ft when I was there on Saturday. And it definitely looked like they were staying overnight. So I've got a feeling you could stay down there in one of their parking lots overnight.
According to the site, their contact number is 831.646.3953  Might want to call and see what they say.
