Juicing !

Anyone juicing?

*Inspired by Fishunter's steady diet of fruits, I'm trying out some new recipes for fruit juicing - please post your favorites....


Here's mine: "Green Mango Madness"

1) Find the greenest mango
2) buy Concentrated Calamansi juice  (visit your nearest Hella Asian Market)
3) skin the green mango and slice into chunks
4) put green mango chunks into blender
5) pour calamansi concentrate into the blender - about 3-4 spoons - add if desired
6) add ice and blender it

GOOOOOD STUFF 

*You can also ice/blender the concentrated calamansi juice by itself = REALLY DELISH on a hot summer day!!!

mangos give me a rash something horrible , i love them though and that drink looks great ;(

I think Barry Bonds has some good Juicin recipes Mooch You might even hit some homeruns afterwords!!!!

My favorite:  Melon Smoothies

Ingredients:

1 cup Honeydew chunks
1 medium orange
1/2 medium peach
1/2 cup fresh pineapple chunks
1 cup ice cubes

Preparation:

Start blender at low and increase slowly to high. Blend for 45 seconds to 1 minute.  It should yield about 2 servings (3 1/4 cups).

I gotta agree with ya Sonny!! Honeydew or cantaloupe in a smoothie is the BEST!!!!

Juicing apples n carrots cured my allergy real good. Don't have the attacks for 3 years now.

Used to load kids up on beet juice they had fun freaking friends out!

Mooch.... did you have to add any honey or sugar?  The thought sour green mangos + calamansi juice sounds good but it's making my mouth pucker.

Mooch are you naglilihi?     Maybe you can add some sineguelas to that mix.     That will either shrivel your mouth or make you run for days.

My favorite juice.

Chunks of pineapples, a shot of coconut juice and a fifth of melon flavored rum.

Yeah, beets and ginger are the ticket. Just don't be freaked out by the color of what you find later in the toilet. Been there. Also try bbq'n the beets too

    My daily recipe   similiar to Sailfish's.      use any of what is on hand to suit taste...   along with ice and water tossed into a blender.

     Two oranges,    skin  just the rind  the white part is full of nutrients
     Pineapple
     Mango
     apple
     bannana
    frozen strawberries
     spoonful of phsylium ...   ( extra fiber )
    VitaMineral  ( superfood )

Chuck, no sugar needed. THe calamansi concentrate has honey in it already.

 If I won the lottery, I'd buy some land in HMB and be a Calamansi farmer. LOVE that stuff. Oh, and I'd include Lansones as well = THE BEST tropical fruit I have ever tasted!!!!

I agree.  It's my favorite fruit too.  Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anywhere but in the Philippines.
