Just pulled some RF jigs together. Enough to make a couple of packs of 6-7 "things" I will snap a pic and post this afternoon.

If anybody sees a good deal on a new kayak, please notify me & Al or these other Ahulls.
Because we want to buy one for the raffle!
How cool would that be?!
So, if anybody knows of a hookup, or is sponsored by a kayak manufacturer, please let us know.
Thanks!

Al, let's post the flyer so other people can print, distribute, and help garner donations too!

And of course, for those environmentally-conscious folks, here's another version in landscape w/2-up if you want to save paper. Just print it then cut down the middle. Attached in both jpg and pdf formats.

A friend of mine Mr. Dick Debenedictis owns a Hobby shop here in Fresno so I mentioned the P.I.F. paddle cumming up and he says no problem, turns around and hands me a HO Scale train set.

Now I know the first thing that comes to mind is how does this relate to fishing. Well it was a kind gesture and he said he will try to see what else he could do.
So we talk a little longer and he says he might have time to do some art on a paddle or something to donate (he pinstripes as a side business). Now here is where it gets intresting. If you have seen my "Yakhopper" paddle you know he does good work but if you are a bike enthusiast you may have seen his work on the this bike on the cover of this book
http://shop.arlenness.com/p-3586-the-king-of-choppers-book.aspx
Now he is in high demand and his time is limited so this will all depend on what comes up between now and than.
Anyways just wanted to let you all know what I have secured for the raffle thus far.

See Ya Soon,
Eric / Yakhopper

Eric, anything anyone can donate is just AWESOME!!!  I love hearing that even people outside of the kayaking community are willing to help.  And thank you for taking the time to help garner more prizes for the PIFP!!!  Sara has been putting up fliers at local businesses in our area and is also receiving a great response!  I really hope we can get a lot of new people to join in the festivities, and maybe turn some of them on to 'The Madness'  :smt003

This is getting off to a great start!  :smt002  Really, really proud of all of you that are helping to make this event happen!  We cant thank you guys enough!  It's going to be a really fun day, so I hope all of you can make it down there to the event!!!

I'm thinking we should do something similar to what Allen does for the Sand Crab Classic raffle with some of the bigger ticket items. We could put some containers out in front of specific raffle items and then we could pull tickets from there for those specific items. That'll keep the geezers from getting all the stuff the kids want. -FF
Think is is really a great idea!!!  Thank you for sharing it!
