I just had to make me one. It's 1/4 inch (could have gone bigger but...) I am guessing i will be using it for an ab iron and the odd perch/RF and more seems overkill. Happy with the results and can't beat the price,

For this one i didn't run any. The intended use is for marking spots but I was able to pull the hell put of it as is so I think it  should do the trick if needed. If ppl want I can run some 80lb mono or braid down it. If so, I'd prob use a larger ID tube and suck the line thru with a shop vac. The paint was blown thru with a simple air compressor.

One hell of a job on that floatline!

I'd like to buy one too, please. 50' x 1/2 inch

I might make up to Shelter Cove, just to hang out and maybe get some abs, but I'm not sure yet. I'm in Santa Clara though, so I could probably pick it up one day too, whenever is convenient.

With all this interest you're going to put all the other float line manufacturers out of business  :smt003

Remember you need line to float on the surface when the business end of the line is at the bottom. You need enough line floating on the surface that you can find it in bad vis and rough conditions. You don't need heavy duty cord for NorCal diving but the diameter needs to be enough that the hardware doesn't make the back end sink. You want the clip on the back end to be removable. Most people don't use a clip on the back end unless they have to clip on to their float or boogie board. If your board or float is anchored you won't want to be tied to it. I prefer no clip on the back and then I am free to swim as far as I want without getting tangled. 25 feet is very short if you plan on doing much diving. You will soon be diving 30-40 feet and a 25 foot line won't work in bad vis.

Eric's line looks very nice.

Almost all of the store bought float lines are 3/8 OSD and 1/4 ISD. 1/2 is probably going to make a bulky pakage but it would be bouyant.

OK here is what I got.....I actually use big cross lock swivels on both ends (hard to see in my pic, i just added the kelp clips last minute).  I will assume you all want that set up unless otherwise noted. For those that want 1/2" I will have to see if they have it. If not, I will use 3/8"

Shell - 25' of 1/4"
BnB - 50' of 3/8" or 1/2"
Big Jim - 50' of 3/8" or 1/2"
Rick - 50' of 3/8" or 1/2"
Hamachi - 50' of 3/8" or 1/2" (ONLY CLIP ON ONE END)

I will try and whip up a few extras in case ppl want one at Shelter!
