OK here is what I got.....I actually use big cross lock swivels on both ends (hard to see in my pic, i just added the kelp clips last minute).  I will assume you all want that set up unless otherwise noted. For those that want 1/2" I will have to see if they have it. If not, I will use 3/8"

Shell - 25' of 1/4"
BnB - 50' of 3/8" or 1/2"
Big Jim - 50' of 3/8" or 1/2"
Rick - 50' of 3/8" or 1/2"
Hamachi - 50' of 3/8" or 1/2" (ONLY CLIP ON ONE END)

I will try and whip up a few extras in case ppl want one at Shelter!

Awesome bro.

3/8" is fine for me and you can just put a clip on one end and leave the other end with a swivel...99.9% of the time that end is just trailing free for me...

Thanks again Eric, and look forward to seeing you up at Shelter!

Sincerely,

Jim

Cool....will do. I actually will use cross locks on the ends. They add zero weight and wont snag. The other option is to crimp off the end with no snap or attachment.  You'll be happy..promise!

I think I'd prefer 3/8" too. Thanks for hooking us up, Eric.

Also, thanks for the tips, Merv.

As Amphibian mentioned, 1/2" is pretty large for floatline material.  It'll work fine, but you probably want to stick to 3/8" OD.
The cross-section of larger diameters collapses easier & will tend to kink & deform easier.  3/8"OD & 1/4"ID seems to be a sweet spot.

Made a couple with yellow PVC tubing... just 2 spectra loops on either end, plugged with silicone.
That way one is free to loop any shackle/clip/etc. to the ends.

I think I have enough to make 6 or 7 of the 50' X 3/8". I cleaned out 3 Lowes! If I can find more tubing I will make more. I am testing different paint set ups so there may be some slight color variations but they all will be high viz yellow.

So far I got...

25' 1/4 for Shellback
50' 1/4 for Bloodbath
50' 3/8 for BnB, Big Jim, Rick, Hamachi, Dr Hab, dpship.

Price wise I was thinking $15 for the 25' x 1/4", $20 for the 50' X 1/4" and $35 for the 50' x 3/8" - Let me know if you all think that is fair. There is a bit of labor involved! And I need to upgrade my mask and fins and booties! This will fund the madness.

I will bring them all to GS. If you can't make it and want me to hand off to someone just let me know.
