Started the day late afternoon, windy and a little chop with all the boat traffic. Fishing was slow at first but finished good with a variety of rock fish, a kelp bass, and a short cabi. It felt good to be OTW again.

Good Fishing All!!! :smt003

That's a nice haul of fish.  Especially like the calico, I haven't caught one of those since I moved up here from Los Angeles.  Thanks for the report and pics.

I second Sin Coast...   I'd love to know what you were using to catch those fish.     When I went off of Coral street on Sunday I started out using a P-Line Jig with 2 large silver rubber squids, and used squid bait on the hooks, and I did not get one single bite with this set up.   I later changed it out and used a red/yellow feather 2 hook jig, with squid bait on the hooks, and I finally landed 2 fish.

Thanks!

I am using 1oz jig head with a dark colored creature, from my bass collection. Seems to be working well for me so far. I went out on the row again yesterday kept six, and one undersized ling. Hopefully next time .

Good Fishing All!!  :smt003

Sweet!
That Calico is huge!
At SWS last week I caught several smaller fish on a 1.5oz head and a black creature.  Its good to see that someone else is switching up the "niche's" :smt001
