The wind picked up and blew everybody (including most boats) off the water. Unfortunately.

Thanks for all the well wishes my brothers!! It was great to hook up with 6 other brothers to do some fishing. Unfortunately, we were all blown back in with heavy gusty winds, whitecaps throughout the bay, and swells rocking up and down the deeper we went. We marked some fish, but was too busy controlling my yak most of the time than fishing lol. At 250' I was marking some fish, but decided to come back in with the rest of the fleet since it was getting rough.

I'm sorry brothers that the conditions were terrible, especially since we had a good group of company I hope that next outing will produce better results and an opportunity to fish more lol

I was there last friday and saw a used needle at the ramp.  If you look around I'm sure you'll hookup.   

I was dreaming of pink meat going into it. But after seeing and feeling the whitecaps break on you, I was relieved that everyone made it back safely to land.  The forecast was way off... oh well, it makes that itch to catch one even stronger.  The good thing is that we kicked it back on the beach and BSed about how we were going to catch them next time.  Good times.
