Petaluma creek is gushing right now. At high tide you might be able to make it to the Oulet Mall at high tide from downtown.

i will shot home at lunch, grab camera, and shoot a few pics of my local creek that dumps into the bay.

Paddle/Pedal in place.

I will take some pics of the lettuce fields here in Salinas totally destroyed!

pic2&3~ five houses downhill is the main Pinole Creek(one more tire on its way to the mudflats), which works its way about a mile down to...........

pic1~ they just completed the rebuilding and widening of this area,, it flooded the last major storm(see pic below)

...a little off the topic but I live by the Hwy 280 freeway entrance and exit. I've been hearing police, ambulance and fire truck sirens all morning (till now). Traffic accidents I assume    Drive safe out there NCKA!

I'll try and get home before dark to take some pics of our backyard 

little teeny gallinas creek over ran the culvert this AM at high tide...water running over the roadway down here. i've NEVER seen that in 11 years daily crossing that intersection

I usually love rain, but even my patience is wearing thin. I have to continually mediate on pink meat to maintain my sanity. I'm sure it will pay off for us fisherfolk.

I love pink meat, Love it when its raining, I usually start at cuddling...wait.. are we talking about the same pink meat?

Honeydew, which is just inland from the 4000' ridge of the King Range and maybe 15 miles from Shelter Cove as the eagle flies, had 38 inches in 30 days, but that was before this storm!  They've had another 5-8 inches since then...

"March:  in like a lion, out like a lamb." *

* Except in odd numbered years when seismic activity is heavy...(?!)
