Rockfish Southern opening weekend?

Anyone thinking about heading down south to Santa Barbara area to get in some much needed rock fishing? I was thinking about heading down in a few weeks and any insight as to where would be a good place to launch and fish would be great.

Thanks fo rth eintel! I would love to hit this some time but not sur eif the journey is worth it with gas going up to $4  . I think I will just dream of rock fishing and hit the sloughs instead.
