whoda thought that trolling in 18 feet of water like that would land you butts

Way cool. I'm jealous. :smt001
Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

That is a very cool video. Looks very stable. I would never think about turning 180 in my kayak on my knees...then again I can't do that on the ground anyway :smt044

Curious as to what his trolling speed was for halibut.
Somebody have an answer? I think i was trolling about 2mph when i caught mine, but that guy in the video seems to be pedaling faster than that (although i don't know the wiind/tide conditions)

Peace, y'all

Rudy has taken his AI and his focus on documenting and sharing his fun to another level.  I'm really proud to have corresponded with him quite a bit over the past couple of years as he developed his yakfishing cruise ship!  I don't know why he's not on NCKA - never asked him.  Good man right there.   :smt001

I was wondering about that.  Why use the scupper cart after spending all that cheddar on an AI?  that's just asking for it

Rudy is badarse!  He has the trax wheels but it's probably easier for him to launch with the hard ones.  Check out his windy hali video.  I was out on that day in ARW and it was amazing that he was able to limit out on the other side of the bay in those conditions.

I thought that was cool and looked like fun.

Anybody know - does he trailer the AI set-up except for the mast or does he break it down every trip?
