He breaks it down, but he's getting a trailer so it'll become a simple drop off.

Dude, that is legit! Remember the video someone posted last summer of the SoCal Hobie guys sailing around, spearfishing and camping? After seeing that and now this, I gotta get one if these one day! That's some next level sh!+ right there! Looks like so much fun, and he was catching fish...holy smokes.  Sweet video!

Yeah Chuck, get yours so then we could cruise together in our Hobie on the bay this summer.  I find the AI very easy to put together now and you don't really have to be so much of an experience sailor since you can always peddle yourself back into the right orientation in case you lose wind during a tacking manuever.  Happens to me a lot at Del Valle.  I want to get some set of trampolines like Rudy's but they are a little to pricey from Hobie.  You know of any after market source?

Kuya Rey.  I might have an AI before the end of the month (crossing my fingers).  I want some trampolines too.  I think we can make our own for much less $.  I just need some mesh material and some grommets.

I really think we're all going to see more AI's used for fishing around here.  The SoCal guys have been using AI's to get further offshore.  Around our windy bays, it should be perfect for trolling and extending our range.

When it comes to kayak fishing, I'm no purist.  I don't give a care whether I'm using a paddle, pedals, or the wind.  If it can get me out there to have more fun and catch more fish, sign me up!!!

Awesome Chuck.  Glad you are seriously getting into it.  We are gonna have some fun just getting there and back.  Looking forward to see a bunch of us sailing ARW or Angel Island someday.

A friend of mine just got one.  Now if I can just convince him fishing is worthwhile....

I'd have one if money were no object.

Chuck, just so happens I have a ton of 85% commercial shade cloth at the shop and will bring a sample for you to test this weekend. If it works out we have enough for about fifty trampolines .....
