I got 2 older Yakima roof mounted bike racks.  You know the kind that the whole bike goes on with the clamp to the downtube?  Can those work for what you're thinking?

What are the hitch sizes on those hitch mount racks? 2" or the smaller one?

Let me look in THe Box...I might have a fork mount or two-- the kind that are supposed to be bolted into a truck bed or the like. I'll look tonight and post tomorrow if i have 'em still

BTW, I'd love one of those hitch mounted ones (2" receiver) if still available.

Pretty sure its smaller than 2" receiver size.  I am asian after all.  :smt011

jk, about the asian part.  I mean, I am NOT kidding about being asian, but I AM kidding about the asian endowment innuendo.

~~~
In sum, it is not likely a 2" part, but I think you can buy an adapter/sleeve.  Its just sitting along my side yard right now, free or if you wanna gimme something to trade, that wouldn't be horrendous either.
My problem was that I haven't even gotten around to buying the tow package for the SUV, so 1" 2" 3" its all useless to me right now anyway.  I'd just as well clean out that area of the yard and hook a brother up who wants it
