SCHEDULE ADDED 8th POST DOWN

For those of you who are not familiar,
I have been organizing a series of Kayak fishing events for the last 3 years.
My main goal has been to bring new people to this great sport and brotherhood of Kayak fishing.
I am proud to say that over the past 3 years I have introduced over 100 new people to this sport.
With all this said and done I would like to re direct the goal of the 2011 series from gathering new troops to supporting the ones in need. As many of you know a couple of our brothers have fallen on difficult times and could use our help. For this reason I have decided to keep these events Free to all who wish to participate, However I will be requiring that all those who join an event to make a donation of any amount to help support our brothers through this site.

There are several ways to make a donation:
1. MLPA _ Mooch Life
2. Team ShickenMooch 2011
3. Pay it forward
(please send me a PM if you have another)

These brothers have been both inspirations and mentors to many of us and it is time to get serious about taking care of our family.
I will be posting the 2011 series schedule in the next few weeks, but wanted to get this out there so we can start doing what we can A.S.A.P.

Thank You With All My Hart,
Eric / Yakhopper

It's awesome to have you and FW being a great ambassador to our sport.  The fact that you can pursue passions and philantropy personally and through your work at FW is admirable and respected.  You and others at NCKA have been doing very admirable work thru various events, and I'm proud to be a part of NCKA.  I can't make any of the events (Sundays are out for me), but will support the events.

Thx to you, FW, and to the others on NCKA who organize such events- you all truly make the words BROTHERHOOD and CAMRADERIE stand out when thinking of NCKA.  I'm sure everyone on this board thinks the same and feel the same in their hearts, but just wanted to express the appreciation and admiration in words

+1   Nicely stated John.

So excited just waiting to hear what your lineup is going to be this year!

Ooh, ooh, I know, I know.  Guess that was one of the perks about being able to attend the ISE.  Let's just say that I'm looking forward to it again, as usual!

Well, looks like I'll make 3 out of 4. I'll miss Clear Lake. The only one I really know how to fish. Oh well.

OK. Now I have no reason to be staying off the water. I WILL make it to at least one of these events. Great fishing with great guys and to help a brotha out. What's not to love. Thanks Yak.
