Here's some images of the battery box, nothing to fancy, but i did wire the kayak so that you can charge the battery from an external port and don't have to remove it from inside the kayak.

This rear power port will mainly be used for the livewell pump, but also for charging and a light/flag pole which will be placed conveniently in the Scotty mount right next to it.

Hummm.. was wondering about that socket you had in your pics!  That's pretty neat looking, but I would worry about water shorting it out.  Didn't see a fuse in there, but would probably be a good idea to have one.

THAT, my friend, is money.  I wracked my brain trying to think of how to do it before giving up.  You found the right connectors.

Use plenty of dielectric grease.  Seriously.

That's a definite on the D-grease and there are inline fuses inside the water bottle container; as well a push-button switch directly in front of the starboard zig-zag kleat.

Hopefully, I'm covering all my bases; having learned from my mistakes on my powered boat......

Thanks guys!! Wiring skills came from the days I used to install stereos systems; wait till you hear my RV at the next event.

Also, it helps to have a workshop in my house; use to do wood-working back in the day...

But mostly, I just took all the ideas that NCKA members had done and incorporate varies sections in my yak. So THANK YOU all for all your ideas; I hope that my examples helps out future club members...

Now, if I only can leave work so I can do more work on the yak, life would be good!

Very nice all around. Hope it all works well for you. It looks great! I am anxious to see how the full live well changes the kayaks ability.

... to see how the full live well changes the kayaks ability.

Do actually plan on letting it get to full; maybe 1/2 to 3/4... Was actually thinking of making a smaller tank from scratch; maybe 5 gallons... I just have to make a run done to TAPs Plastic to pick up some materials; then start  fabricating...

Awesome boat!  I'm not the tinkerer, but I love what you've done.  How much for one?   :smt001

Be cautious with the live well.  I had a similar one on my Revo and got turned over at Paradise by a ferry wake.  It was really difficult to get the yak turned back over and by the time I did, the hull had taken on a lot of water.  The paddle/pedal back to shore was really unstable.  I decided to sell the live well after that.  I think it would have worked out OK on an Outback or similar very stable platform but i just couldn't get comfortable with the added weight on the back of the Revo.  The tank was nearly full at the time.  I use a bait tube these days and it seems to work fine.

@BlackAb: I love to tinker!!! Sometimes I think I buy things just to see what I can do to it. That's the best party about hobbies!!!!

@bennettdanville: I hear you loud and clear; now you got me thinking if my livewell is a little to big for my needs. Maybe I'll go to 'Plan B' and custom make me a smaller one. Maybe I will just use it as a kill box or something...

you will never need to fill it all the way......you've got the answer already by keeping it at a low level, and then see what happens.

You can always drill a lower exhaust hole so the water level doesn't get too high.
