MLK - Forebay 1/14 - 1/17 FIsh N Chill

Hello everyone looking forward to this weekend.Haven't been on the water in so long I actually have worked for four months.I am coming early Saturday morning.I would like to camp Saturday night.Please let me know if someone wants to share a site.I will be bringing Newcastle beer and some food for the BBQ.

Wow, it's starting to look like quite a turnout!  This makes me think we should upgrade to the group site    Lots of room, covered tables, our own beach to launch off of, the huge MAN style BBQ Pit, and it even had electricity    So, who is down??  Need to know who is planing on camping which days, and I'll get it booked.

i'm gonna try to see you guys on saturday or sunday for a short day trip.

I'm in for camping-Fri afternoon till Sun morning. My wife too. Looking forward to my first time camping with NCKA. Can I bring anything or do something to help?

I am in for Friday to Saturday. Did you get the group site? and what will it cost?
Do we need wood for a fire? Let me know whats going on.

We definitely need lots of wood, or this will pretty much be a FREEZE rather than a FishNChill     If we had one bundle per person per night, that would likely be more than enough to keep us all warm

We will also be doing a pot luck at the very least on Saturday afternoon, probably around 2-3PM after fishing.  Friday Sara and I will be making Dutch Oven Chili for the evening, and Saturday we were thinking of making Bistek and dutch oven desert!  (JedMo!)

As far as the cost, i'll crunch the numbers, but at this point I think it is way more cost effective to use the group site.  Still waiting to see if anyone else is camping, but should have a cost breakdown by the end of the day 

I'll bring my usual bepstek and pansit for dinner. Perhaps the pansit for
Friday night when I get there and the beef to Saturday night. I will also
bring something for the fryer as well. See you all there. BTW, I'm thinking of Friday night camping for me only. Then leave late Saturday after the potluck.

Unfortunately, to get to San Luis I have to drive right through the Delta!
Too many spots there to fish! JK!

Kids' sniffle and sore throat has turned for the worse, so I won't be camping.  sorry.
I'll try to make it for a day trip solo.
