Damn!  Sorry to hear that, Jack.  But I'm stoked for you and your new home!  If this means that there's a room open at The Tides I think I know a guy who will be very interested in taking it...

No taco stand?   :smt010

Maybe you'll work out a schedule to get the house thing done and come to GS too.   :smt003

My son has a baseball tournament for his travel team, so the kids wont be coming with on this trip. Kinda bummed, but now I can let the dog out!
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

I tried reading through the thread but my attention span isn't there for 41 pages! Need to figure out my accomodations. Will be there Friday morning and heading out on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

You might contact Dustin/Rock Hopper - I know he had to look around at what was available just a week or two ago.  The Marina Motel is literally a stone's throw from the ramp, a spit away from the cleaning table, and a leisurely walk away from the campground or The Tides (where the potlucks are).  The Shelter Cove Oceanfront Inn is more expensive, right next to The Tides, has a great restaurant, awesome beach access, and is close to everything as well.  There are other inns up on the north end (about a mile from the action) - I'm not sure of the names, but start Googling the Cove and accomodations - you can't go wrong with anything that's along lower or upper Pacific Drives.

The other motel closer to the Abalone Point is "Inn of the Lost Coast".

Maybe you should have a special award this beauty to someone who caught the closest fish to the end of this Hawg Trough (which is 36").  :smt003

The Oceanfront Inn still had rooms as of last week. If not, I MIGHT be cancelling my res. there. Seems to be the most expensive Hotel in SC, though.

Eric,

I don't remember, but did I purchase a hoodie? If not, is it too late to order one???
