That's good news - I was a little bummed to think the tournament wouldn't be on the opener.  Now I'm at least about 92% sure it'll open on 5/15.  I'm 100% sure the tournament is that day!   :smt001

Crabbing kind of sucks at SC, IMO unless you have a PB. I crabbed the south area near the radar reflector for nada. I am brining frozen dungies for my cioppino.

I lost A crab pot there last year, I would like to think the rope got caught in someones rudder rather than getting stolen, ( Not that thats better..)..Or maybe it was the year before that.

They're still getting crab - we heard the salmon fisherman talking about it on the radio, and lots of people are dropping gear.  I'd say have 80' of rope at least.

I mailed in my registration in time this year.  Grumpy will not be there, so may need a team to join.
Thinking of bringing the boat also.  Do a little salmon trolling and bring the crab traps.

Hey Guys, my wife and i just bought a new house in santa rosa. It needs a buttload of work and we have to be out of our current home by may 15.Consequently, I will not be attending GS5 this year  :smt010. On the bright side, we will have a spare bedroom and a swimming pool for any brethren who may want to come visit (not you Darius. I have enough marital problems as is). I hope you guys are able to have a great time without me. Eric, please keep my entry fee as a donation to our brothers in need and pass my shirts on to one of our sonoma county brothers to pass on to me.

                     Thank you, Jack.
