Alright, enough with the Stripers I need some Crappie...It's been years since I've had a good panfish fry.  Crappie + beer = happiness.  Stripers taste good...Crappie taste better.  Gonna hit it mid morning (9am) unless the Crappie Pros chime in and suggest a better time.  I got a case of beer ready to be hammered!!  :smt003

I might be out there the following day.  I know I'll be somewhere, I just need to hammer out the details and the port is on the short list of places to fish.

Stripers taste good...Crappie taste better.

I don't know..... the BBQ striper tacos tonight tasted pretty good!

Well if the striper bite turns off next weekend after the tide change like its been doing I'm in for targeting crappie. So it looks like its either around 10:30 or 3:00 for stripers or any other time for crappie!

Damn -I'm out of town but very interested in hearing about the crappie-slaying.  I'm going to have some time off between the holidays and a multi-target  day is just what the doctor ordered.  Keep me posted brother.

It won't be the crazy soggy downpour that keeps me away as much as it will be that they are have ramped up the flows on the Sac and the American.  Apparently there will be a 6 ft. rise on these rivers.

The Port(Lake Washington) would prob. not be so affected by the rise, and I don't think it would be a safety issue for a yakker.

The fishing might be affected though - for better or worse! :smt003

We'll see how optimistic I am about constant downpour fishing! :smt044

Would love to join you, but have folks coming into town in 4 days and a fishing trip this weekend would result in a complete forfeiture of all credits in the bank of WAF, thus, I will sadly be warm, dry, scrubbing toilets, mopping floors, and making gifts on the lathe...

Best of luck, esp on the crappie!

Catching fish in a downpour is fun! - not catching fish in a downpour is f-ing miserable.

I looked out the window early this morning and the down pour combined with the gail force winds its probably going to be tough out there. Good luck if anyones going, I'm building the rainy day WAF points to apply for a better day of fishing.

I just spent the whole day shopping with the misses...I probably have 10+ more days before I can get into positive points...still working off the debt...

All day shopping? :smt104

That alone should of at least given you a couple days worth of fishing.
