I agree with Erik - I think the agreed upon GAF conversion ratio at my house is 1.8 to 1 (shopping to fishing).  Of course we observe the industry standard 2.5 to one when I'm buying.  This is of course for daylight hours only - (also industry standard) all night time shopping hours garner a meager 30 minutes of daylight fishing.  Predawn fishing does NOT exhaust any GAF points provided it does not affect my bedtime either the night before or the night after.

That call is not forthcoming.  I joined that club once, didn't suit me.  Either way, Amir is also in the GAF club still, so no excuses.

I do remember the days being even one minute late home from fishing and all hell came lose. I lost more than WAF points  Over the years, it evolved to trade offs... and now she just wants me to be happy and I never hear any pay backs options or any gruff. However... (you know it was coming), I respect her need to be around (and support) the horses. ohh, maybe that is a option trade off.

Been' in the GAF club since 2002...it doesn't get easier over time...by the time I upgrade (or downgrade) my membership to WAF status I'll have accrued some serious debt.  I used to wonder how I got away with buying the Hobie...now it all makes sense  ....
