Seems way too big, but they do make a mini: http://www.yakdaddy.net/The_Mini_SLIDER.html  I'd check it out, but kinda looks flimsy.  I'll see if Karen can get the mini  :smt002

I wonder if Duane is getting a commission ?
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

also seems limited to certain models. no go on a hobie and at the T13/T15. And makes the front hatch a bitch to get to. Seems like a fresh water kinda item IMHO

lol, he coulda kept a smaller tackle pack bungeed in the console and done without all the sliding.  Guess there's no room for efficiency in the gadget world.
..........agarcia is just an ex-kayaker

haha yeah for something that bulky, it should have a few more things...you know, to increase efficiency. I'll start the list: minikeg w/tap, propane BBQ attachment, gatling gun, electric crabpot puller, periscope, ejection seat, ......

You guys are right!  It's bulky and gets in the way to access the front hatch or when fighting a fish.

It's obviously a piece of safety equipment to keep your legs and lower body secured in place when you flip your kayak.
The framing also makes makes it easier for a grappling hook to catch when the kayak is sunk... :smt044 :smt003
