Have never caught any WSB and would love to change that.  In fact I think I may even have a friend in town that week who may be interested also.

Good news and bad news.  The good, your friend is invited and encouraged to attend.  The bad, at the end of the day, you'll still have never caught a WSB.  It's a striper derby.  :smt003

Hope to see you there.

Looks like this will be a great turnout
I will be leaving tomorrow evening for S.D.
When I return I will start a food thread
If you post up while I'm out of town I will add you to the list upon my return.
I promise I am not ignoring anybody - just have a lot going on right now
Wish me luck aboard the Intrepid - Looks like we are going to head to the Ridge.

See Ya Soon,
Eric / Yakhopper

Can someone who has stayed at the campground tell me a little about it?  I am looking into taking the family there for a camping trip.  Is there good fishing for kids (bluegill or any other biting fish in the calmer waters) nearby?  I have an inflatable and kayak I can bring.

thanks,
Nate

Count me in also.

Spinal tap dont konw about the camping but there is a lot of bluegill, catfish, crappie to. The current in that area is sort of slow. Just right for an inflatable.

all i can say is last year tiki did not charge kayaks to launch.  I launched there late last year and they did not charge me, but i don't know if that's the same now.

as for camping, they have a small campground there.

call the marina for more info:

I will be talking with Tiki again tomorrow
They normally don't charge for launching a Kayak, however because we will be taking most of their space - there will probably be a small fee for parking.
I will post after I hear from them in the morning what the fee will be.

In appreciation to Eric, Fisherman's Warehouse and all the sponsors for the kayak fishing events put up.  I'm gonna share with y'all average Joe/Jane tips on how to catch a big mama striper.

I will update the list as we go however I will be fishing on the Intrepid from Sept.25 thru Oct 2 and will update the list when I return.
Yes I will be thinking of you all as I am hooking the big ones :smt005
See Ya Soon,
Eric / Yakhopper

Eric, I wish you the best of luck/fun on the Intrepid . Such a lucky guy, I'm so jealous!! :D Look forward to seeing some pix/report/update from your tuna trip.

Sorry that I won't be able to attend this cool event, especially when the grand prize is a decked out kayak!! However, I'm trying to convince a buddy to go. Either way, looks like that you have a good turnout, I know that it's going to be a blast!

Lastly, a big thank you for all the events you have been putting together. You rock brother!!

- Daniel

I am going to try and make it Eric. Do we need to be present for the kayak drawing? Having attended 2 of your famous events I believe I am already entered twice. Correct? Thanks. Hope you get some nice multiple species on your trip. Craig
