Any of you Ocean Kayak Pro Staff know if the new Rod Pod hatch is interchangeable to replace the old one?  If so is there anyway to order one?

Yes I believe it is.  I saw one last month.

Also reccomended is an additional neoprene weather strip to adjunct the gasket.

I wonder if Ocean Kayak would make some sort of deal, one leaker hatch for a new and improved  bombproof hatch, would be nice :smt003.

Awesome news for me! Because I still haven't installed the rodpod hatch on my T13. I'd rather get this new version.

Where are they selling these bad boys? I’m in the market for my first kayak and I was about to purchase the 2010 trident 13 at Aquan, but these new 2011 models look more functional. So I’m not sure if I should jump the gun and purchase a 2010 or wait for the 2011.

Thanks!

The new rod pods look interesting.  Depending on price I'd be interested in looking into ones for a T-15 and T-11.

I like that they are more rigid.  I prefer to keep the cockpit clean and open for exit/entry and handling fish.  Other than maybe using the front rod holders for mooching/trolling I couldn't see mounting a bunch of clutter in the cockpit, just my preference.

Hey, OK pro staff guys - anybody got a price on these?  any chance of an initial group discount from OK if we get a bulk order from NCKA?
